R.I.S.E. College is looking for passionate, purpose-driven educators to help shape a new school from the ground up. We're located in Woolloongabba, Brisbane, and we're opening in early 2027. Right now, we're building the team that will make it happen.
R.I.S.E. College isn't a school looking for someone to maintain the status quo. We're a new kind of school, being built from scratch, with a clear philosophy, strong community backing and a founding team that believes education can do better for young people who have been let down by traditional systems.
This is a rare chance to join at the very beginning. To help design the culture, shape the curriculum and lead a school that puts young people first. Not in theory. In practice, every day.
We're currently recruiting for our Founding Principal and Founding Business Manager. Additional teaching and support roles will follow.
R.I.S.E. College is a Special Assistance School for young people in years 11 and 12 who are disengaged from, or disadvantaged within, mainstream education. We're founded by CoAct, a community services organisation with deep roots in supporting young Australians to thrive.
R.I.S.E. stands for Resilience, Identity, Skills and Engagement. These aren't just words on a wall: they're the framework for everything we do, how we teach, how we support students and how we measure success.
We're located in Woolloongabba, Brisbane, and we're set to open in 2027, with a target launch date of January 27.

This is a founding leadership role. You'll work closely with the R.I.S.E. College Board to finalise the school's operational model, recruit and lead the founding staff team and prepare R.I.S.E. College for its first intake of students in 2027.
